Alesha Walker has lived in Plainview, Texas since 2009. She received an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from West Texas A&M and went on to law school at Texas Tech University School of Law earning her Juris Doctorate.
Alesha is married to a local farmer, Zac Walker. They share a son together who enjoys his life in Plainview.
Alesha has had varied life and job experiences which allows her to bring a unique perspective to your case. Alesha worked for several years in agriculture and then as a caseworker for Child Protective Services before becoming an attorney.

BRENDA M. JOHNSON
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Brenda M. Johnson is a Plainview native and 2010 graduate of Plainview High School. She earned her degree from Wayland Baptist University in 2014, double majoring in Psychology and Justice Administration. While at Wayland, she clerked for the Honorable Robert W. Kinkaid Jr., whose work ethic, knowledge of the law, integrity, and fairness left a lasting impression on her.
Brenda earned her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2017. During her third year, she practiced under a third-year bar card, representing clients in landlord-tenant matters, divorce, custody disputes, and adoptions. She also clerked for and later joined a criminal defense firm, handling intoxication-related offenses, ALR hearings, essential need licenses, expunctions, and other criminal matters.
After law school, Brenda returned to Wayland as an adjunct professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. She considers it a blessing to have the opportunity to invest in students, her community, and an institution that helped provide the foundation for her own career.
Brenda later served as an assistant district attorney with the Hale County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases and handling appeals. As a prosecutor, her duty was to ensure that justice was done—evaluating each case on its own facts while helping victims navigate an often unfamiliar and difficult process.
Working in family law, criminal defense, and prosecution has given Brenda a perspective that extends beyond any one side of a case. Brenda believes every case deserves to be evaluated on its own facts and circumstances, and every client deserves an approach tailored to the realities of the case and what matters most to them. Effective advocacy does not always mean taking the most aggressive position available. It means listening carefully, giving candid advice, preparing thoroughly, and knowing when to advocate firmly and when a practical resolution may better serve the client.

I was born in Mendota, Illinois, and raised in Plainview, Texas. I am a proud wife to Erik Vasquez, a dedicated real estate agent, and a loving mother to four children and grandmother to two, who keep me busy and active.
In 2018, I earned my Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Paralegal, which has been an important step in my professional journey. I also have 17 years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant at Azteca Milling, where I gained valuable skills and built lasting relationships.
Outside of work, I find great joy in spending quality time with family and friends. I am passionate about praying for my community and encouraging those around me.
I believe in the power of prayer, positivity, and being a source of support for others in both good times and challenging moments.

Natalie Thacker
Case Manager
Natalie was born and raised in Plainview, Texas. She attended Plainview High School and is an alumni of Texas Tech University.
Natalie has two children of her own who enjoy the small-town life of Plainview.
Natalie has 7 years of experience in financial practice, along with 10 years of social work. She is passionate about serving families in the area she calls “home”.

Lee Morin
Accountant
Lee graduated from Texas Tech University in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration and a major in accounting. She worked as a CPA for 15 years before making a career change. After returning to college and graduating in 1994 with a master’s degree in teaching from Western New Mexico University in Silver City, NM, Lee began a teaching career. In 2019, Lee retired after teaching for 25 years in Hobbs, NM. Lee and her husband, Joey, moved to Plainview to be closer to family.
Lee began working for Alesha in August, 2022, and she handles the daily financial aspects of the law firm. Lee and Joey have embarked on the adventure of raising bees and chickens, and love to camp in the mountains.

Kash Walker
CEO of Snacks & Supplies | Supervisor of Document Shredding
Kash Walker is an honorary member of the Alesha Walker, PLLC team and the son of Alesha and Zachary Walker. An accomplished young runner, Kash brings the same energy to the law office, where he reports for duty one afternoon each week after school.
As CEO of Snacks & Supplies and Supervisor of Document Shredding, Kash helps keep the office well-stocked, confidential documents properly destroyed, and everyone on their toes. He may be the youngest member of the team, but his titles are very official—at least according to him.
